Personal Narrative My Ideal Job Essay - 1359 Words

During the summer, a huge focus of mine was working. Working always had more than money involved, but valuable skills, traits, and benefits that came along with a job. These jobs are what helped me shape my ideal job, and what I most want out of my future career. As anyone else, income was always one of the biggest factors. I never wanted a huge income like a doctor would receive, and I don’t want to be in school forever. Another big key of my ideal job is the quantity there was. I never wanted to run out of work and have to search for another job, so job stability is critical to me. I love the idea of having to work for what you earn, so a good income satisfies my needs. In addition to my required needs for a job is the benefits you get out of it. During my youth in the summer I always wanted some vacation time to have fun with friends and family, so benefits and hours were always important to me as an individual. I always was looking for a typical schedule working a Monday t hrough Friday with weekends off. Along with that I hope came with some vacation time, and holidays off. A family was always an essential to me, so being able to get away from work whenever to be with my family is a key component of my needs in a job. That said my search began to find the career I was looking for. Understanding what I have in mind for a career, I put together the typical job description.
